Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

An Aidells twist on a traditional meatloaf.

1 pound ground beef
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 onion (chopped)
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 eggs lightly beaten
1/2 cup tomato paste
10 ounces cheddar cheese


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, ground beef, bread crumbs, the onion, egg, mustard, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Pat the mixture into a loaf pan and bake until firm, 45 to 50 minutes. Sprinkle the top of the loaf with the cheese during the last 5 to 10 minutes of baking. Let stand in the baking dish for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
