Aidells Italian Style with Mozzarella Meatball Calzone

Ingredients

3 Aidells Italian Style Meatballs

5oz Premade Pizza Dough

1/2oz Pepperoni

2 tbsp Pizza Sauce

¼ cup Shredded Mozzarella

⅛ cup Shredded Parmesan

1 tbsp Italian Seasoning

1 tbsp Melted Butter

Directions

1.      On a floured countertop or cutting board roll out the pizza dough until it is nice and thin, about 6 inches in diameter.

2.      On the pizza dough spread out the pizza sauce in a thin layer leaving a half inch of dough clear around the edge.

3.      On one half of the dough layer half of the mozzarella and parmesan, chopped meatballs, and pepperoni, and top with the remaining parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

4.      Fold over the pizza dough and crimp the edges of the dough together to form a sealed pocket.

5.      Transfer the folded calzone to a lined baking sheet.

6.      Mix melted butter with the Italian seasoning and brush overtop of the folded calzone.

7.      Bake in the oven for 8-12 minutes at 400*F until the dough is set and golden brown.

8.      Brush again with the seasoned butter and serve.
