Dinner
Ingredients
4 Sliced Aidells Italian Sausage
⅓ cup diced Red Bell Pepper
½ cup Trimmed Broccolini
½ cup Diced Yellow Onion
12 oz Pappardelle Pasta
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
½ cup Pasta Water
1 tbsp Salt
Directions
1. Cook pappardelle pasta in boiling water until al dente, about 8 minutes. Strain and set aside saving ½ cup pasta water.
2. In a large sauté pan add the olive oil and sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 10 minutes. Set aside.
3. In the same pan add the red bell pepper, diced onion, and salt and let cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
4. Add in the broccolini and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Add back the browned sausage and cooked pasta and toss with the pasta water and butter until sauce starts to form.
6. Garnish with crushed red pepper flakes.
