An Innovator, Gourmet and Award-Winning Cookbook Author, Chef Bruce spreads the word about hand-Crafted Sausage
 
It's no accident that Chef Bruce Aidells' nickname is "The Sausage King." Since he founded Aidells Sausage Company in 1983, he has earned a reputation as an innovator in the gourmet sausage business.

Chef Bruce got his first taste of the food business as a graduate student at UC Santa Cruz. He became a full-time chef to cook at Poulet, a popular Berkeley restaurant and charcuterie. He left armed with hundreds of poultry recipes and a loyal clientele to found the Aidells Sausage Company.

Bruce has written an impressive array of ten cookbooks and continues to produce articles for prominent food magazines such as Gourmet, Bon Appetit and Food & Wine. He is a frequent guest on TV cooking shows and a commentator and chef on Bay Area television and radio.
